Program Overview: Testing web applications is a complex, high-risk human endeavor. The toughest thing about web application testing is understanding the target audience well and meeting the requirements in terms of functionality, performance, reliability and security. There are several factors pertaining to the web application that are related to its success. It requires proper understanding of functional testing, usability guidelines for web applications, security threats and response time for various critical transactions of the web application. This training program addresses different kinds of testing that is required for web applications, how to plan testing for web applications, guidelines on how to carry out these kinds of testing and finally typical work breakdown structure for a web application testing project.

He has worked on a wide variety of assignments in Software Testing, Project Management, Training, Consulting and Mentoring. In his last position, he was chief of center of excellence for software testing, responsible for meeting the training and consulting requirements of customers. He has conducted trainings on International software test related certifications, Software Testing essentials, Test case design, Test management, Healthcare System Testing, Use case modeling and Rational Unified Process. He has provided consulting on introducing effective Test process in many organizations. He has conducted in house trainings at renowned companies like IBM, Wipro, NIIT, Cap Gemini, InfoTech Enterprise , Robert Bosch, and Planet Asia. He is a IBM certified professional on Rational Robot and Rational Unified Process. He also carries expertise in Quick Test Professional. He was active in spreading awareness about the emerging field of software testing and delivered lectures on software testing to the faculties in leading institutions. He has worked with Swiss Micrownix, Comat Technologies, Siemens Information Systems Limited and QSIT in various capacities.
